Formerly known as the "Yellow Tiny Home"....now newly painted green. A new paint color calls for a new name....the Green Cottage. Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. Relax and cozy up with a book, explore our land and creek, visit the neighboring St Croix State Park, enjoy yourself at Grand Casino Hinckley. The tiny home has 2 separate sleeping areas. One area is a full bed and one bed is a twin bed with a trundle (best for kids). So this tiny home is perfect to sleep up up to 4 guests. There is a working fridge, air fryer, and a coffee maker to enjoy your fresh cup of coffee when you wake up. This tiny home also has a bathroom.

 

ATTENTION: all guests must be approved. **ALSO, please note that this tiny home shares the property with the Cozy Cabin & the other tiny home. The tiny homes are a football field away from the Cozy Cabin. See the Property Map in the gallery. Green Cottage= "Yellow Tiny Home" on the property map. **

Cancelation Policy

Travelers who cancel at least 60 days before check-in will get 100% of the amount they’ve paid.

If you cancel between 30 days and 60 days before check-in, you will receive a 50% refund.

Cancellations within 30 days of check-in date, guests will NOT receive a refund.

Additional rules

  1. All guest counts must be approved.
  2. We are on SEPTIC!
  3. Nothing but toilet paper down the toilets please.
  4. Please dump trash in outside dumpster before leaving.
  5. Dump all food from fridge and cupboards (only condiments can remain in fridge.)
  6. Please wash all dirty dishes and put away. If left on drying rack clean, this is ok.
  7. Extremely dirty home condition will be subject to an extra $100 cleaning fee.
  8. We try our best to keep it clean This is a cabin, you will see critters and insects, but we strive to keep them outside.
  9. All other out buildings and barns are not part of the reservation and guests are not allowed to use them. Please keep an eye on your children.
  10. Please return all yard games and outdoor equipment (such as snowshoes) to their designated spots.
  11. No smoking of ANY KIND indoors! $200 smoking fee per day enforced if violated.
  12. If you smoke outside, please do not leave butts or throw them in grass or on deck.
  13. Outdoor amenities such as the grill, fire pit, and plastic chairs are NOT maintained by the cleaner and are the responsibility of the GUEST to make sure it is clean for the next use. If something needs to be fixed, please let us know so we can have maintenance fix it.
  1. Pet fee of $100.
  2. Limit in size and quantity.
  3. No pets on furniture.
  4. No pets left alone unattended.
  5. Clean up after your pets.
  6. Pet damage fees will be applied if rules are not followed.
  7. Quiet Hours are 12am-8am. Our neighbors live and work here. Please respect them.
  8. Only the guest that booked the reservation is allowed to check in.
  9. We allow early check in and late check out when and if we can accommodate with cleaners and other guests. Must be approved 3 days before booking.
  10. We can not accommodate last minute changes in check out times.
  11. Early Check in fee of $50 up to an additional 2 hours, arrive as early as 2pm.
  12. Late checkout fee of $50 up to an additional 2 hours, up to 12pm.
  13. Any late checkouts beyond 2 hours will be charged for an additional day (base rate, no discounts).
  14. This does not allow you to stay the additional day, but is a penalty for staying past the 2 hours. Thanks for respecting our cleaners time.

Anyone caught violating any house rules will be grounds for immediate termination of reservation and removal from property without a refund. Guests must have a valid working phone number. All guests must be declared on the reservation. If there is a guest complaint during the reservation and they have made it known to the host, they are giving permission for the host and their team to access the property to remedy the situation.

Video/Audio Surveillance

The property has surveillance cameras placed to monitor all vehicles and persons that enter and exit the property and to verify the guest count arriving to the cabin when needed. This video and audio footage is not shared publicly and is recorded and retained by Host and staff for liability reasons as in the case this Agreement is being violated and/or proof is needed related to any access or incident occurring on the property. All cameras are located on the exterior of the cabin and monitor exterior doors, drives, and some of the exterior surfaces surrounding the outside of the structure. In no way do the devices infringe upon guests’ expectations of privacy during their stay and guests do not need to expect to be monitored during their stay, but are being made aware of the cameras’ presence. These will be utilized if an issue arises or is suspected, and confirmation or clarification is needed regarding activity on the property at any time. Any attempt at disabling or obscuring the cameras is prohibited and may result in guests being removed from the property without refund.
